C++ systems for positioning, protocols, and real hardware.

I work on 5G positioning and GNSS positioning at Ericsson. My work spans 3GPP LPP and SUPL, GNSS corrections, embedded Linux clients, and the Linux services behind customer trials.

Open to C++ systems, embedded Linux, positioning, and protocol-engineering roles.

5G and GNSS positioning

I own work from requirements through integration and customer trials: clients that request and apply GNSS assistance data, location-server services, and the protocol paths connecting the two. I support multiple parallel pre-commercial customer trials.

  • C++ on embedded Linux — Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone targets, CMake toolchains, Docker-based deployment.
  • 3GPP and GNSS — LPP over SUPL, RTK / SSR / OSR correction formats, and commercial Trimble and u-blox receivers.
  • End-to-end delivery — design, implementation, integration, observability, and direct customer trials.

Projects

  • SUPL / 3GPP LPP Client

    Primary author · 2021 – Present

Open-source C++ toolkit for 3GPP LPP clients: SUPL transport, GNSS assistance-data retrieval, and conversions to receiver-facing correction formats. Built and exercised on embedded Linux targets.

  • Hanko

    Creator · Open source

Early-stage, self-hosted passkey-first identity provider written in Rust, with a React interface and OpenID Connect authorization code flow with PKCE.

  • douteki-dns

    Creator · Open source

Small Rust service that keeps DNS records in sync with changing IPv4 and IPv6 addresses through the GleSYS DNS API.

  • Twilight Princess Decompilation

    Contributor · Open source

Contributor to a matching decompilation of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: reverse-engineering PowerPC assembly into C/C++ that rebuilds into the original binary.

Useful at the boundary.

  • C++ across embedded Linux clients (Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone) and Linux server services
  • Deep, hands-on GNSS positioning: signal behavior, error sources, and the correction algorithms (OSR, SSR, RTK, PPP) behind precise positioning
  • Commercial GNSS receivers (Trimble, u-blox) and the 3GPP LPP / SUPL signalling that delivers corrections to them
  • Owning features end to end: requirements, design, implementation, integration, and customer trials
  • Cross-compilation and deployment for embedded targets with CMake toolchains and Docker
  • Debugging across the software / protocol / hardware boundary
